Your Single Most Important Thought.

Jesus Christ is the express image of God, that means He is the image and likeness of God, the writer of Hebrews says He is the radiance of God’s glory, the exact representation of God’s being.

We were made in the image and likeness of God.
That means that Jesus Christ is exactly who and what God has made us, as he is so are we in this world. That’s why we are said to be IN HIM, which means we are existing in who and what Jesus Christ is, Jesus Christ is our true self and identity.

I was sharing yesterday on Facebook Live that nobody can look directly at his own face with his own eyes, that every image of ourselves we have is by the help of some reflective surface like a mirror, or some means of recording like a picture or video.

In the same line, Jesus Christ is the image of ourselves which we see when we look into the word of God. That is why we are commanded to fix our eyes on Jesus. Fix your mind on the word of God, keep your words in consonance with the word of God, walk(engage life) as Jesus did, with the same mindset, attitude, and bold authority, because you are exactly the same.

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.
2 Corinthians 4:6 NIV

As I was saying yesterday, the single most important thought you will ever have is Jesus Christ, because then you have the perfect self image of yourself, your true and best self.
Remember that the bible says we are transformed by the renewing of our mind(thoughts). So as you learn Jesus through the word of God, your thoughts match your perfect self, and you are being so transformed into your perfect self, the you that God made.

And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3:18 NIV

Here is the action point of this post; meditate the word of God knowing that it shows everything about you, meditate on Jesus.
THIS IS HOW THIS WHOLE THING BECOMES REAL TO YOU. MEDITATE

As Within, So Without.

Whatever generates the images you look at in your mind is the source of your life, because out of your heart come the boundaries of your life, as it is written; as far as the eyes of your heart can see will I give unto you. It is the mind’s reality that we are transformed into. Those possible outcomes, that future you envision, those ideas living in your heart, what gave birth to them? Are they born of the word of God? They better be! Cast away the children of this worlds wisdom, the opinions of men, the predictions of culture, the report of experiences past, and all those voices that are bound to the senses, and embrace the child of the Spirit, let the knowledge of the truth make you free, for all things are possible to him that believes. Believe and meditate on the word of God, you will see the kingdom of God. What you ‘see’ is what you get.

And that’s why Jesus said that “if the light in you be darkness, how great is that darkness.” Matt 6:23.Jesus knew that without light we could do nothing, He knew that we can only move freely within the light. Most especially He knew that what we see with the eyes of our heart sets the boundaries of our life. If what we see in our heart is truth(light), we will live truth, and that’s freedom, but if what we see in our heart is lies(darkness), then how great is that darkness, because the darkness becomes our life, we live a lie, and that’s real bondage. Out of the heart come the boundaries of our life, and if what is in our heart is darkness, then the boundary of our life is in darkness, that is what an evil stronghold is.

Imagine a person going through a difficult experience, perhaps a loss or a heartbreak, that’s a moment of rebirth in life, the end of life as it has always been, and the beginning of another. At points like this, one finds oneself in similar circumstances as a butterfly going from one stage to another in its lifecycle, or as a flower blossoming, opening its petals for the first time. This person will either blossom in light or in darkness. If this person blossoms in the darkness, this person will move forward with the conclusion that life is not worth living, or that all men cannot be trusted, and in this darkness this person will live until the day light comes. They will attract and experience things that reinforce their belief, they will act in line with their belief contaminating the opportunities that come to them, because what is in their heart is creating real time manifestations of itself.

But one who blossoms in the light under the circumstances will find the word of God that speaks to ones circumstances, they will trust in God Who makes all things new, and move forward in life trusting in that word. And so will that word wash away the past to bring forth manifestations of Itself. They live free from what they have been through.

The Promise Land

The land God has given us is in Himself. He is our exceeding great reward. We have been invited to partake of the divine nature, to be the expression of His word in the circumstances of life. It’s such a vast place, limitless and boundless, without beginning and without end, when we come into this land, when we come into heaven through the revelation of the word and of Christ, we can posses as far as our ‘eyes’ can ‘see’. When we are in faith in Christ, we can posses what belongs to us, because in Him all the promises of God are “yes” and “so be it.” They are finished, they are done!

Jesus says that in ‘this house’ there are ‘many rooms’, and He has gone in and prepared ‘a place’ in God for each of us, that now through faith we are where He is, what He is, and have what He has obtained. He has become, that we might be, He has entered, that we might be where He is by faith; citizens of heaven, in God and seated on the right hand of God in heaven, reigning as kings in life, ruling like God in this world. As He is, so are we in this world. Through faith we are receiving in this life what He is and walking in all that He is.

This land is a spiritual land that faith translates into physical manifestations. Christ has made room for us in God, which we enter into by faith. Through faith we have gained access into and stand in the grace of God, functioning in that place where we are absolutely confident in Who and What God is. The unsearchable riches of Christ is become ours by faith, Christ has been made wisdom to us through which we have access to participate in all that God is. It is an extraordinary permission we have in Christ. Right now, this very moment, it is all yours. Through faith you can walk in the finished works of Christ, you are the physical body of the invisible Christ; the flesh and bones of Christ. You are the church of Christ.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Begin to see yourself living in the expanse of this land in the sphere of life where you’re planted. See Christ in you, see the word of God manifested in your life, have the same mindset that Jesus had; “God is my Father, I am His son, and all that He has belongs to me. His heart is my heart, His thoughts are mine to think, His words are mine to speak, His acts are mine to relive, His results are mine to reap. I and my Father are one. I am fully permitted to be as He is.”

Faith comes when you realise how things really work, how things really are, what the true nature of existence really is, as opposed to what the darkness in the world has conditioned you to believe all the while. It is called ‘light’. It is called revelation. Apostle Peter called it ‘morning’. Revelation is as important to your faith walk, as natural light is to your natural movement. It comes by the word of God and gives you dominion over your circumstances, faith is the victory!

I pray you receive revelation from God in any area where you need deliverance and victory. May morning break in your life, that dominion may come, and put you over to reign in life. Your light shall come suddenly, and you shall arise and shine in the name of Jesus.

Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling. (Ps 49:14)

WHAT IS FAITH?

Imagine this parallel. A car engine generates so much force and torque. When you start a car engine and fire it up, the engine revs and screams with so much power, but because the gear hasn’t been engaged, all that power does nothing to move the car forward, it just goes to make the engine scream.

To transmit the power of the engine into motion, the torque in the engine has to be channeled to the tyres through the gear wheels. We move the gear from ‘neutral’ into ‘drive’, then the power in the engine begins to act on the tyres, moving the car forward.

The gear of a car does exactly what faith does in a man. The Spirit of God is the engine of life, it generates or communicates the wisdom or knowledge of God comparable to the torque or power of a car engine. In prayer and meditation, we fire up this engine, it revs within us with so much power, but until we engage faith, all that power does nothing, no movement is recorded.

Faith is the gear of life, faith is, to give your being(thought, emotion, words and actions) to the wisdom and knowledge of God ministered in your spirit by the Spirit of God. To give your being, I mean releasing yourself to it. If it says walk on water, you step out unto the water without fear. If it says point your right finger to that man sitting in a wheel chair and say, “get up and come here”, you do it without arguing the man’s condition in your mind.

In God, seeing isn’t believing, believing is seeing. So, we have the eyes of faith, and what we see with it is what is real. Yeah that’s right! When Jesus says that if your eyes be good, then your whole body will be full of light, He means that, if your faith is engaged to the right engine, which is the Spirit of God, and you are receiving the knowledge of God mixing it with faith, then that light shall saturate and be manifested through your life. The glory of God shall be seen upon you. You shall shine with the glory of God. The appearance of God shall be transmitted via your life. You shall be the visible manifestation of an invisible God, just as the performance of a car whose gear is engaged demonstrates the power of the engine within it.

Simply put, faith is acting like what you know about God is also true about you. AND YES, IT IS! You are made in His image.

THE GOD OF PEACE WILL SOON CRUSH SATAN UNDER YOUR FEET.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (1 Peter 1:3-5 KJV)

Scripture tells us that we have already been blessed with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Now, that means that everything you’ll ever need in life at every single moment has already been made available. Most people don’t use these provisions because of ignorance or unbelief. The scripture above tells us that these things are reserved in heaven for us, and these things, which are ready for deployment to the earth, shall be deployed into our lives by the power of God through our faith, producing the results we need.

Now, it says that this will happen in the last time. That means NOW. Because Christ ushered us into the last times, HalleluYah!

You see, what makes it look like your answer is taking some time is because you’re labouring to enter into rest, or in other words, you are ‘coming’ to believe. It’s a necessary process that the Spirit of God takes you through in order to establish your faith in the finished work of Christ. When He has trained you, you shall come forth as gold! Your light affliction is working out for you an eternal weight of glory. The real value is in what you gain spiritually during this waiting period, not the end reward. The end reward will make your joy full and also glorify God, but the process will bring you closer to the image of Christ.

If you’re believing God for something, satan will engage you and try to stop you. But fight the good fight of faith, not only will you get what you are believing for, but you shall also reclaim a portion of your spiritual land of promise from satan, which is your divine nature. You shall come out of that fight ‘wonderfully made’. Glory!

And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. (Romans 16:20 KJV)

Have The God Kind of Faith!

Those in Christ are not told to “believe Christ” or to “believe God”, we are told to “believe in Christ” or “believe in God”.

What is the difference?

To believe someone is to give a mental consent to what they said, and sad to say, this is what most Christians have, and call faith. They couldn’t be more wrong, because there’s no difference between this kind of agreement and what was present before Christ came.

But to believe in Christ is what Paul describes in one place…As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: (‭Colossians‬ ‭2‬:‭6‬ KJV). In another place he puts it this way…I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and THE LIFE WHICH I NOW LIVE IN THE FLESH I LIVE BY THE FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD, who loved me, and gave himself for me. (‭Galatians‬ ‭2‬:‭20‬ KJV)

You see, the just shall live by faith. But we don’t live by our own faith, we live by the faith of the son of God, in other words, we are legally and spiritually impersonating Christ, as the son of God. That is why creation waits for us to manifest, because we are Christ incarnates. And to make it more awesome, Jesus himself tells us to have the faith of God in Mark 11. Jesus also double confirms this by saying we shall do greater things.

Scripture triple confirms this by saying that “As He is, so are we in this world”. Glory to God! HalleluYah! This is something to shout about!

With you around, nobody needs to wait for God or Christ to act. Both are here in you, for you are one with them! Jesus never told a sick person or a dead body that God did not approve their request. Instead he said, “I know You ALWAYS hear me”. Wow!

Paul takes it further and says,…the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we speak; (‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭6-8)

My my my! Did you just see that? With the word of faith in your heart and in your mouth, Christ is here!
No problem in this world needs Christ to come down, we are able to deal with it! Put the word of God on your mouth and frame the world! Glory! Shine NOW! Shine On!

THERE IS NO GREATER HONOUR!

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6 KJV)

This might be the reason many church folks end up thinking God failed to reward them for their supposed service to Him; because they did the wrong service and expected the wrong reward. God did not promise to reward us with something for being busy in religious activities.

What God rewards us with is grace, the divine energy that gets things done. In the book of Hebrews chapter eleven, God shows us something rather remarkable, He shows us that it is in His nature to make real in our lives whatever knowledge of Him we search out and receive with faith. Here we see that the labour God expects of us is the labour of searching Him out, and believing what we find, hence, ask, seek and knock.

The word “rewarder” actually should be translated “testifies” or “bears witness to”. So, God is saying that whatever knowledge of Him we search out, He will bear witness to it through the faith it will birth in us, causing us to come into the manifestation of that truth. We labour in the word and ‘prayer’, and we find faith. Our reward is to shine like the stars among men by the works of our faith in God. We are channels through which God broadcasts Himself to the world. There’s no greater honour!

My greatest inspiration as a teacher of God’s word, Charles Spurgeon once said, that if a man be as a ram’s horn, and with him his maker makes sweet sounds, that it shall be to that man’s gain, if he finds a way to make himself into a golden horn, that his maker may make more melodious sounds out of him. It is with you that the knowledge of the glory of the Lord covers the earth as the waters cover the sea. Ask! Seek! Knock! Seek Him with all your heart, for everything you find out about Him shall become real in your life if you receive them with faith. BE a witness!

THE LOVE OF GOD.

For thus said the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: In returning [to Me] and resting [in Me] you shall be saved; in quietness and in [trusting] confidence shall be your strength. But you would not, And you said, No! We will speed [our own course] on horses! Therefore you will speed [in flight from your enemies]! You said, We will ride upon swift steeds [doing our own way]! Therefore will they who pursue you be swift, [so swift that] One thousand of you will flee at the threat of one of them; at the threat of five you will flee till you are left like a beacon or a flagpole on the top of a mountain, and like a signal on a hill. And therefore the Lord [earnestly] waits [expecting, looking, and longing] to be gracious to you; and therefore He lifts Himself up, that He may have mercy on you and show loving-kindness to you. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are all those who [earnestly] wait for Him, who expect and look and long for Him [for His victory, His favor, His love, His peace, His joy, and His matchless, unbroken companionship]! [John 14:3, 27; II Cor. 12:9; Heb. 12:2; I John 3:16; Rev. 3:5.] O people who dwell in Zion at Jerusalem, you will weep no more. He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry; when He hears it, He will answer you. (‭Isaiah‬ ‭30‬:‭15-19‬ AMP)

Wow! Can you just imagine the love and mercy of God?

When you’re shutting Him out and running far away from Him, He keeps seeking close after you. And when your own stubbornness has made you an icon of shame, failure, human depravity etc, He was patient enough to follow you close and lovingly to this point, AND ALSO TO DO SOMETHING THAT WILL MAKE YOU SEE HIM, almost like a little child being ridiculously funny trying to get someone’s attention. O Lord My God! And once you turn to Him, once you call to Him, He quickly has mercy on you, He saves you and removes your shame. He glorifies you. Can you imagine this love? The Father’s love is perfect and has nothing in it to make you afraid of coming to Him.

You reading this, you may have come to such a point in your life where all hope seems lost, and tomorrow seems impossible, I want you to know that this is God lovingly making Himself and His love visible to you again. Come to Him NOW!

Jesus Christ is God’s message to you, believe in Him TODAY!

AS IT WAS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH…

God is the biginning and the end. This does not mean that God loses control of the creation in the middle, and only controls it at the beginning and the end. NO! This is what it means; every beginning is purely God and God alone, man cannot contaminate it even if he tries. Same goes for the ends. Every end is God and God alone, man cannot stop or do anything about it even if he tried. God makes these two points exclusively His domain to govern. The creation in Genesis sees God as beginning, when He says “let there be light”. He did not consult any man to create what He created. It was after He had done what was in His mind, that He brought man in to manage things, and that was the point where man could mess things up.

Then there is the long period(what scripture describes as one thousand years. That is not literal, one thousand years in scripture is a way of saying “a very long time”) of patience and grace, waiting for man to repent and learn His ways. And after that long period comes the end. Scripture has shown us some ends. The time of Noah, when Israel went into captivity for the first time as a nation, when Jesus came(the end of Jewish hypocrisy and legalism), etc. In each of these ends, there was nothing man could do to stop it, even repentance couldn’t stop it.

Every end is immediately followed by a new beginning in the earth. And God presides as judge and jury over it. That’s why it’s called the day of The Lord, because He alone decides, speaks, acts and concludes the order of things on that day. Whoever will be part of the new world must know, accept and live the word of God. It is by His word He brings forth the new beginning.

People of God, we are at another earth-scale end. There is nothing anybody can do to stop it. This system has failed, we have put our fingers in the eyes of God for too long, we have denied Him the glory that is His for too long, it is time for Him to show us that He is God, and besides Him there is no other. To survive it is to find out what God is saying. Right now God is saying a series of “Let there be’s”, and they are all in His word. To survive and be part of those that shall rebuild the new earth with the new heavens(dreams and visions of a future built entirely with the word of God) coming out of God’s mouth right now, you must go back to the word of God. There is nothing that is not of the word of God that will survive this final onslaught. Science will fail, military might will fail, philosophy and secular wisdom will fail, medical knowledge will fail, economic theories will fail, social and relationship models will fail, everything will bow before the word of God.

What are you still doing playing around with something that’s already cursed and falling into the fire of God’s judgement and purging? GO BACK TO THE WORD NOW AND START LEARNING AND TRAINING YOURSELF TO LIVE BY IT AND PRODUCE REALITIES FROM IT. That is the only safe place right now. The word of God is His shelter, meditating on it is abiding under the shadow of that word, of the almighty. That is the only safe place. GO NOW!

Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” (‭Revelation‬ ‭12‬:‭12‬ NKJV)
