A Christmas Thought.

Today we are reminded of the birth of Jesus Christ, God’s awesome gift to mankind, who came to do God’s will on earth among the sons and daughters of men. He was full of the Holy Spirit and went about doing good; healing the sick, making wise the foolish, setting free the captive, opening the prison doors of sense life for many to enter into the freedom of the Spirit, turning our bodies from tombs in which we are buried to a terbanacle where God lives, and on, and on, and on the good tidings go!

Today, I simply want to remind you that the reason for today is Christ. So, in all you do today, keep Him before your eyes, step into His shoes today and don’t step out of it ever again. Yes, the reason for today is Christ, and that same Christ is in you, it is the hope of glory, the assurance that with faith and patience doing their work in you, you will always at every point be a source of praise to God, and a wonder to the world.

Never forget this; as the Father sent Jesus, so Jesus sent you. In other words, all that God sent Jesus to accomplish on earth, Jesus, after transferring all authority in heaven and earth to you and I, made out of Himself and everyone of us one man, a new creature was born, of whom the Holy Spirit makes true also all that is true of Christ, so that we can fully and perfectly “occupy His responsibilities and office on earth untill He returns”.

So, my dear dear friends, brothers, sisters and parts of the body of Christ, of which I am one, remember that today, the world will remember the birth of Jesus Christ, but they can have more that a mere rememberance, for through your “stepping into Christ’s shoe” today, your acts of love, compassion, demonstration of divine power and wisdom, kindness, goodness, help, comfort and the like, the world can, and will experience Christ through you, today, tomorrow and for all your days. I love you all dearly from my heart. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL!!!

The Wisdom of God #001

Come therefore, let us now kill him and cast him into some pit; and we shall say, ‘Some wild beast has devoured him.’ We shall see what will become of his dreams!” (Genesis 37:20 NKJV)

In the wisdom of man, it is the person who determines what becomes of their dreams. So, if something happens to a person his dream dies, if you want to attack a person’s dream you attack the person first and that takes care of their dream. But that ain’t the wisdom of God. For in God’s wisdom, it is the dream that determines what happens to the person bearing it. The person carrying a dream from God cannot be touched. The whole universe is always conspiring on their behalf.

Joseph could not be touched till he delivered his pregnancy, Jesus could not be touched till He delivered His pregnancy, and you cannot be touched till that dream in you which is from God comes to pass. A person in God’s will for their life, a person who has discovered his purpose from God, a person who is pregnant for the almighty is a person that cannot be touched by any kind of evil. Everything; your enemies, your friends, the devil and his demons, plans made against you, the elements, everything is doing what they must do to make sure that dream from God comes to pass. Fear not, a person on assignment for God is invincible.

Now, this knowledge we speak of is not the knowledge that sits in our heads. It is not the “information we have,” it is the “truth we believe.” The word that is usually all of a sudden activated within our spirit, making us leap up in faith is most of the time a word that has always been with us, all the while as mere information in our head, until God works that word into life within us, maybe during a sermon, or while we are praying or meditating, and by so doing make us realize that there is a reality that actually exists which that word speak of. Then we are like, wow! It’s real! It’s true! It exists! I can have it! It suddenly is no longer an information but a thing. And so we enter into this peace that people can’t understand with reason, they can’t see what we’re seeing.

We did mention that the practice of keeping our faith alive for something till we see that thing practically manifested has close relationship with maintaining that peace that passes all understanding. We said it is the art of making use of the second key of the kingdom of God, which is PEACE. One cannot exist without the other. So, from here on in this conversation, I will be interchangeably using these terms; faith, faith energy, spiritual stamina and peace.

There is one subtle thing worthy of note at this point. This our talk of peace is actually an invitation to war. To maintain that peace, to keep your faith energy at optimal level takes war. There can be no peace without war, don’t be deceived. Since the days of John the Baptist, the kingdom of God suffers violence, and only the violent take it by force. Violence there in the original Greek translation means “to force your way through.”

The kingdom of God is not meat and drink my dears, dump every gospel that tells you differently. The kingdom of God is righteousness(self abandonment for the will of God), peace(at home with God’s will, which is maintained by fighting and maintaining your victory over every high thought contrary to God’s will) and joy(which opens the gates for the King of Glory to come in. We will still get to this later, but the fullness of joy exists only in the presence of God).

How do you build your faith so that your faith will remain strong all through the period between when you first begin to believe for something till the point at which you see it’s manifestation? How do you put yourself in that position of advantage where you pass the tests that your faith goes through, instead of your faith being snuffed out like a flame of candle light? What could Papa Abraham have done to not be weak in faith, retain his hope in a hopeless situation and eventually, against reason see the birth of his son by a wife that was way past child bearing age?

Yes, if we are like those whose heart are described as a stony ground, which when the word is planted in it, germinates and starts growing, then all of a sudden, when the adversities of life come, and the contradicting facts emerge, and what is “naturally realistic” and obtainable begin to attack the “seemingly unrealistic” nature of the reality of faith, then the growing word is killed by these things. If we are like that, the scripture tells us that our strength is small, our faith energy is weak. So, how do we build spiritual stamina?

Let’s begin by finding out what faith is made of. What is spiritual strength constituted of? It is knowledge. Spiritual strength is made up of spiritual knowledge. Remember that just in the same way a building is composed of cement blocks, reality is composed of “thought blocks” called words. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. So we are talking about the thoughts(or will) of God formed into words, which we have in scripture. So faith comes or increases whenever we come into direct contact with the word of God.

“…the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.” (Daniel 11:32 NKJV)
Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established; By knowledge the rooms are filled With all precious and pleasant riches. A wise man is strong, Yes, a man of knowledge increases strength; For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, And in a multitude of counselors there is safety. (Proverbs 24:3-6 NKJV)
See you tomorrow.

You Will Never Fail!

There are three infallible reasons why I can never be less than the dream God has inspired within me, I am a god in my earth space, God’s ambassador in the sphere of life He has destined me.

(1) I have received a “white stone” from God on which is written the name by which He calls me. I now know that name and answer to it in my thoughts, words and actions upon the earth. I know God’s will for my life.

(2) I am standing on my watch always, listening in to divine conversations about me. So, I know what He says to me and I know what to “answer” every thought coming into my mind, every word spoken at me and every event I experience. I know His will and I keep seeking His will.

(3) I am surrounded by a multitude of counsellors who speak the very oracle of God. I hear them and in so doing I hear God. No matter how much I know I keep telling myself how little I know, I’m ever hungry for His words and He is well able to satisfy my hunger, continually.

I share this with you so that you will know what it will take you to say the same thing about yourself. Join me, please.

On Meditation…and True Prayer

One of the greatest damage brought about after the fall to the masterpiece called man is the “reverse complex”. It shows up in everything, from how we think of ourselves, how we treat our relationships, what material possessions mean to us, etc.

The greatest manifestation of this is in what we believe to be real. It is the tangible things, the things we can see, touch, hear and smell that feel real to us. I don’t know who it was that first made the statement; “throw your mind over the bar, and your body will follow”, whoever he was, he must have been a very enlightened and spiritual person, because the things that are seen are temporary, but the things that are unseen are permanent.

The things in the mind of man are the truly real reality. What you see, hear, touch and smell are like smoke rising up and fading away, the fire that makes it all real is burning within the mind, fuelled by truth.

Who Are You?

You and I operate in the very place of God only when we become aware and accept our place in Him. If you and I were inside the movie “Matrix” I would ask you a very fundamental question. I would ask, “have you been to see the oracle yet, have you received word from the oracle, that word that will guide you on your journey to destiny and keep you focused when nothing seems to make sense?”

Ah! But we’re not, we’re not in a movie and we’re not in some imaginary story, we’re in the reality built with God’s word. That’s why I will use God’s word to ask you the same thing. “Have you been to the Lord for your true identity, have you received from God that word that guides you on your journey to destiny and keeps you focused when nothing seems to make sense, that high podium on which you stand, like Habakuk to see better, hear better, speak correctly and be full of strength?”

Get a word from God about your life or about what you’re going through, then let that word bring your whole being into agreement. That is your position of power and invincibility in Christ, speak and act from there. Keep your whole being at peace with that word at all times and God will fight for you all the way. That position on the word is your sceptre of righteousness, your token to excercise authority in the kingdom of God.

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it. ” ’ (Revelation 2:17 NKJV)
