Yes, you don’t have to make the same mistakes everybody else made before you learn the lessons they learned. Yes, you can learn from other people’s mistakes. However, on the other hand, there are certain things, peculiar to your own destiny, that only experience will teach you, and it is God who has made it so. There are very valuable lessons that you must learn on the process.
In the scriptures, ‘the right hand’ signifies ‘implementation of intent’, and scripture teaches that ‘the right hand’ teaches us awesome things, which means that, real wisdom, the best kind of knowledge, the awareness of what really works and what doesn’t, is learnt in the process of doing. The word ‘teach’ used in the scripture below, actually means “to point the way to something”. It is in the process of ‘doing it’ that we learn ‘what next’ needs to be done, or how the theory we have is to be applied, or what is missing in our knowledge bank, etc. This priceless Mentorship happens through seeking light from God when we are stuck, learning from our mistakes, etc.
And in Your majesty ride prosperously because of truth, humility, and righteousness; And Your right hand shall teach You awesome things. (Psalms 45:4 NKJV)
But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. (Hebrews 5:14 NKJV)
