A lot of people grab that initial “the measure of faith” that God deals to us and runs out on the road to a divine manifestation, they soon run out of faith juice however. The problem is, they have no clue what’s really happening…like a car running out of fuel, they stutter and run to a halt, not knowing what else to do but abort the journey. This is exactly what happened to people in this scripture,…

“But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.” (Matthew 13:20, 21 NKJV) Just like we saw from the scriptures, when the day of adversity came, they fainted because their strength was too small to carry them through it. When you looked at the advantages and privileges of those succeeding around you, and compared them to yourself, you gave up on your dreams, it means your strength is small.

Now, you will begin to understand what really goes on behind the scenes of your faith walk when you open your heart to understand what you really think of your faith walk, for as a person thinks so the person is. This is the issue; most people think of their faith walk as a lottery, instead of a billion dollar business. In a lottery you get all the money you can think of to do whatever you want, with a deceptive promise that you don’t have to work ever again in your life. The problem is there’s no sustainance plan attached to it, the money just keeps decreasing as you spend, till you finally empty out somewhere in the middle of your wants, poorer than before.

With a billion dollar business it’s different. You get all the money you need while working the business. No matter how much you spend, there’s a sustainance strategy already in play. Infact, unlike a lottery, the more you spend, the more you have. You know that work is the only thing you need in order to keep your spending power up-to-date. The machinery is already operational, all you need is just to keep working it. And so the scripture says “work out your salvation…” The real genius in the faith walk is the amount of work you put into “…building up yourself on your most holy faith…”
