Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (I Peter 1:3-5 NKJV)

So, if these “smaller” promise lands are safely kept in heaven for us, how do we get them down here where we need them and at the right time we need them? The answer to that is in what we’ve been discussing for the past few weeks. The kingdom of God is accessed with three keys, righteousness(faith in God’s word), peace(we are yet to discuss this in full but it is the result of maintaining victory in the mind over the suggestions that rise up in opposition to God’s word, for there is perfect peace in the man whose mind is at home with God’s wisdom), and joy in the Holy Ghost(which is rejoicing in the conviction that God’s word is as good as reality).

These three keys, we have seen were also used by the wise men that journeyed to the manifestation of Christ(the birth of Christ), in the symbolic form of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Each of these three keys must be used to open three specific doors in man; righteousness is used to unlock the spirit of man(with the heart(spirit) man believes unto righteousness), peace unlocks the soul of man which is the mind and will(…be transformed by the renewing of your mind…), finally joy being a godly emotion produced by the Spirit, unlocks the body of man on an emotional level.

When these three doors are unlocked with the word of God, they are alligned with each other and alligned with the will of God. Then, a highway appears which leads from the heavenly places in Christ to the reality we live in, ready for these “smaller” promised lands to be shipped to us. With this in place, the power of God working through faith is surely bringing us closer and closer to the “last day” of whatever journey we’re currently taking. Soon the word will manifest(Christ will come), and we will enter the promise land.
