Yesterday we found out that whenever the will of God meets faith in our heart the earliest form of righteousness is formed, which is also the most tender stage of righteousness. That is the “embryo” stage of righteousness. Now, at this point it is very easy to abort that righteous thing growing inside you.

Then He taught them many things…and said to them…a sower went out to sow. Some fell on stony ground, where it did not have much earth; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of earth. But when the sun was up it was scorched, and because it had no root it withered away. The sower sows the word. These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble. (Mark 4:2, 3, 5, 6, 14, 16, 17 NKJV)

A lot of people get to the “embryo” stage of their salvation and then it gets aborted because they don’t know how to get past it, many have heard a powerful word from God many a time, left the meeting feeling like no mountain could stand before them, only to watch that rare gift fizzle away like a punctured ballon.

Please pay very serious attention to this; when God invests His seed, He is not interested in getting a tree back, ask the tree Jesus cursed, it will tell you that it was cursed because it wasn’t producing fruit when it was supposed to. And God is not interested in getting His seed back except it is contained in a fruit, ask the servant that hid his Masters talent instead of trading with it, he will tell you that his Master wanted the seed back in a fruit.

You have been taught that it doesn’t matter what you do once you say the “sinners prayer”, please don’t listen to them, they’re leading you to destruction. And you need more than the first burst of faith that comes after you first hear a word to actually see it made manifest. The parable of the sower, quoted above, recognises as true to God’s intent, only the seed that went on to shoot its roots into the ground, grow to maturity and bring forth fruit. We shall continue this conversation tomorrow.
