…he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
The second heart setting follows the first. Knowing then that God is, that whatever it is you want, God is. Consequently, whatever it is you want will not be created, it is already in existence. It is in God. For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things,….
So, the second heart setting that everyone who journeys toward God must have is this; if you want to get a cheque from me, one that you can cash from my bank, you look for me not my cheque book or my bank. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all other things shall be added to you.
The scripture at the beginning of this post says, “God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” The original Greek translated as “diligently seek” means to “search out”. God says to Abraham, “I Am your exceeding great reward”. In the things of this earthly life, observe that power is available to the one who is loyal to the seat of power. There is “nothing” “somewhere” called “answer”: that is something “the one” in possession of the knowledge you seek carry inside himself.
The world you see today and all that exists in it was brought into being by the spoken word of God, reality came from inside God through His spoken word. So now you understand what God means when He says His name is I AM. He means exactly what John said in his opening words;…nothing comes into reality except it already exists in God, and everything that exists inside Him comes into reality by His words(paraphrased).
So then, the answer you get for a specific prayer and the result of your faith walk for a specific thing is another part of God that is given to you as a reward for making the effort to know Him to “that extent”. To get earthly results in life, first “search God for it”. If it’s in God, you can have it on earth. The reason some people get more results than others in the exercise of faith is simply because some people know God more that others. So, put yourself in a position of advantage by growing in Christ. This is why having a bible that you study and meditate on daily with consistent structured prayer is fundamental to how much control you can have over reality. And of course there is that other very important matter of the knowledge gained through the practice of the word.
My dears, the more you draw near to God, the more He will come closer to you, and the clearer you can see Him. The clearer you see Him, the better you understand Him and the better you understand reality, consequently the more control you will have over life. You are in control of your destiny and the things of this life only to the extent to which you know God. You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. Those who seek things put themselves at the mercy of the things they seek, but those who seek God put themselves under the mercy of God and everything else under their own control.
O LORD COME SOON!
