So far we have established that in order for a spiritual man to get physical results here on earth concerning the issues of life, he must first of all find out what the will of God is concerning that particular thing. He needs to search the scriptures and bring his motives and intentions under the scrutiny of God’s word in true prayer.
True prayer is a position one takes internally, an attitude one wears before God, a heart condition that constantly keeps ones heart and will open to and teachable by the Spirit of The Lord. A man that lives in true prayer is a man in whose life this statement is true continually, “Your will be done oh Lord.” Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. …
We also found out that when we have found this path which we must take, when we have been made privy to the plans of God and allowed into the secret council where decisions about life are made, in order to move to the next step of the process in getting physical results, we must make the decision of this council our will, we must take that which is true of God and real in heaven and agree with our will on behalf of earth, that this is what the earth wants too. We have the right to do this because the heaven is the Lords but the earth has He given to the sons of men. We say what happens around here. This is why even the darkness cannot work but through a man. The spiritual world needs us to enter this realm. God says, I look for a man who will stand in the gap…. Will you be the one?
At this point, the man must utter what is in his spirit. He must voice his will. And he must do it like he really believes it, with confidence and bold assurance. He must speak as a king without doubt, for where the word of a king is, there is power. He must speak as the very oracle of God, the mouthpiece of heaven. He must speak in faith and not doubt in his heart. He needs not to beg God, he needs to command reality. This is the next step. As it is written,
Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. …1 Corinthians 2:9-13.
Let us end today’s discussion with this, Jesus taught his disciples to pray, He gave them this same guideline that we see in creation. In living a life of true prayer and getting physical results on earth, the first thing is to pledge allegiance to God and recognise Him as God. Then the next thing is to invoke His will; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In conclusion, until you verbally impose the will of God unto whatever it is you are praying for, you have not prayed.
O LORD COME SOON!
