From 1 Timothy 2:8

I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting; (I Timothy 2:8 NKJV)

For the men and the women who care to know…In our world, a reality articulated by God, we must trust Him as the originator of all things. As every user trusts the manufacturer to provide them with accurate guide and product information, we trust God to provide the guide, that one view to life and also provide accurate information about His greatest creation; the human being. He did, The Bible.

So, we realise that to have the kind of life we seek, we must first sign up for a lifetime partnership with God, accepting and contributing to His self-multiplication and earth domination agenda. We realise that we do this by prayer, all kinds of prayer. We realise that the kind of order that fosters peace on an existential level can be achieved only by subscribing to a single supreme, perfect and complete view of existence. We realise that only one of such view exist, and only one supreme being hold it, Jehovah, God Almighty.

Therefore, this should be the attitude of the male human being; in all situations(positions with respect to conditions and circumstances) they face, they should pray. They should lean on God. They have to desire, expect and bring God’s view or will on that situation to manifestation. They ought to be able to pull God over every situation by the exercise of their faith in the supremacy of the truth over what is observed.

Men should think, speak and act in accordance to God’s view, according to His will as revealed in the scriptures. This should be their standard for right and wrong, good and evil, acceptable and unacceptable. This is what it means to lift up holy hands; to exercise oneself in the higher life. (The standard must be the scriptures only, not a derivative of it or an adaptation of it, not a man-made set of codes, all these must submit to the supremacy of the one; the Bible. Churches must realise the harm they do to the body of Christ by hosting non-biblical standards and codes of conduct that create occasions for agitation within the body of Christ). Men should keep their distance from violence and agitation, and leave no room for double mindedness. They are not to doubt or do what will cast doubt on the supremacy of God’s view or will.
